How do I use this site to shop?
You will need to be “signed in ” at the top right hand side of the page to initiate the secure “Sign in” page
Find an item by browsing through the “Brands” list or “Category” list or search the item using the toolbar located on the left hand-side of the page.
Once you have found the item that you wish to purchase, enter a quantity (if more than one is required) and click the “add to cart” button. This adds the item(s) directly into your “Shopping Cart”, which is located on the right hand side of the screen.
When you are ready to make the Cart (Basket) into an order, click the “Check Out” button, and follow the 5 steps.
Are there other ways to add items to my shopping cart?
Yes, in the “My Account” section, there is a section called “Order History”. Clicking on any order within here displays the order details. Clicking the “Duplicate this order as a new order” button adds all of the items and quantities into your Cart, which can also be further edited.
Is it quicker to ring through and order?
If you have access to the internet and know what you want, it would be quicker to do it on the web, the web will also send out an order confirmation. You will be able to access it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except when it’s scheduled for maintenance) and you can check stock levels. Web will be the way a lot of people will choose to do business.

What are the benefits of ordering on the web with AusOptic?
Our web site seamlessly integrates with our SAP accounting and service system, so it is dynamic and always up to date, offering the following benefits:
Individual customer pricing - any special pricing relating to a trade account is reflected in your prices when you log on. You see your prices.
Discounts are applied automatically to your order where applicable. Some discounts are unique to web ordering.
You can manage your own account details within the “My Account” section.
You can track the progress of an order, including the history of all orders, placed with AusOptic.
Current and previous delivery tracking details - this information when used on the TNT web site will show when an order was delivered.
The user name for my web “sign in” is hard to remember, can I change it to something easier?
Yes, log on, go to the “My Accounts” section, and click the link “Change User Name”. You can change your log on name to anything as long as no one else is already using it. This does not apply to “Trading accounts”.
I do not want to pay by credit card, but want to pay on an “account” basis instead, is that possible?
Yes, if you are logged on as a trade customer, the Payment type of “Pay on Credit or Account” will be available in the drop down list in Step 3 of the checkout process. This is only available once the appropriate level of management at the requesting company has provided written authority and confirmed credit levels for the web function.
What methods are available for payment?
Credit card, direct deposit, cash (on pick up), company cheque or account.
What shipping methods are available?
We have excellent International couriers and shipping companies that can deal with almost any requirement, please follow the link to the most common shipping methods, if you have other requirements please contact us prior placing the order to ensure we have the best solution selected.

How can I return an item?
Most current stock items can be returned as detailed in “returns and refunds”, all items returned do have a cost associated for both parties, please choose carefully.

Can I finalise the order at a later date?
The cart is automatically saved and is available when you next “sign in” if you only want the select items for review then they can be saved separately “save to list”
Can I cancel my order after I have finalise the checkout process?
If you have processed the order against a credit card you will need to contact our staff to establish its status and either cancel the order or arrange a return.
Do you ship overseas?
We do ship overseas within the scope of our Vendor agreements please contact us via phone or email to clarify products and territories. Generally speaking we ship Australia, NZ, PNG, NC, Fiji and Islands for other countries please enquire.
