New HP3-60 released and shipping – high power HP3-80 version now orderable!
The new HP3-60 is fully released.  Combining the HD3 display with the power meter from the OLP-6, it offers a unique opportunity to include the Essential Fibre Tools in a single package. 

High optical power versions (HP3-80) are now orderable – up to +23dBm.

PRO Kits:
This is the revolutionary kit which will change the way we Inspect, Clean and Test forever. This system contains all the ESSENTIAL FIBER TOOLS in a convenient boot which dramatically improves workflow and reduces the overall Inspect clean and test time by >50%. It is available with HP3-60/80, probe, VFL, cleaners and tips contained in a rubber “boot” that hangs around the neck.  See new sell sheet attached.

 

New MP Series USB Power Meter released:
Again, as part of the Essential Fibre Tools, customers with P5000 digital microscopes now have the opportunity to add optical power measurement to their laptop.  The MP series USB power meter is now released.  Available as standard (MP-60) and high power (MP-80) versions, this low cost small form factor power meter adds power measurement capability to FiberChek2 as well as having its own standalone application. 

Features include:

  • Standalone Power Meter application, or integrates with FiberChek2
  • Data logging with user defined frequency and period.
  • 2.5mm and 1.25mm adapters available.  MP-60A/MP-80A includes both adapters plus a USB extender.
  • Available as a kit with P5000 digital probe (FIT-SD03)

FVA Autofocus Digital Microscope
We recently released the world’s first autofocus digital connector microscope.  Autofocus reduces inspection time by half, and reduces operator error almost entirely. This microscope complements the widely used analog microscopes and FVD digital benchtop microscope.


New version of FiberChek2 available
We have a new version of FiberChek2 available.  New features include:

  • Support for the new autofocus FVA benchtop microscope
  • Includes an optional new QuickView interface.  This does not replace the standard interface, but can be installed as an additional, simpler front end.  Typically a technician would set up profiles using FiberChek2, and operators would use the QuickView interface.
  • Auto centring of image
  • Support for USB power meter
